WORLD RECYCLING DAY

Sort, recycle, sort, recycle, objects have many lives… thanks to you!
Recycling Day” was established in 1994 in the United States and its main objective was to promote the consumption of products made from recycled materials.
It became a “global” day in 2018, more precisely on 18 March. It is an initiative of the BIR (Bureau of International Recycling) which was quickly relayed throughout the world in order to present the issues related to recycling.
In France, the FEDEREC (Fédération Professionnelle des Entreprises du Recyclage) is leading a major information and awareness campaign for this day. Many associations have joined the movement and are carrying out numerous actions at local level.
